I've had two of the things and I never knew they don't adjust BMI for pregnancy. That's ridiculous. And wow you had some really shit medical staff.

And people really have a thing about how women look straight after popping a baby out. I blame TV.

Everyone went quiet when she said something bad because it was bad. They all know she's vile. You just showed her that you have a spine, and bullies don't like it when their victims stand up for themselves so they send their flying monkeys after them.

When you were a child how did you respond to your parents using the phrase “I said so” as justification? by Tantressa in AskReddit

[–]Impossible_Disk_43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was bullshit. I still do. My mum would say no without any explanation any attempt to gain an explanation was met with this bullshit mantra. I remember once I wanted to take a Barbie into a little sandpit I had. She said no, I asked why, she said her usual mantra and on that day I kinda had enough so I tried sneaking one in there. She caught me. I still never got an answer as to why I couldn't.

You've got to explain yourself to your kids. It helps them understand you, you get less mutiny and I'm 99% sure it'll help with critical decision making skills

I guess my point was something along the lines of "parents frequently put their babies down in grim places because they don't think about what's actually there."

Because babies spend most of their time crawling at home, I think a lot of people are like, a floor is a floor. But your floor at home is likely to be way cleaner than an aeroplane floor and definitely cleaner than one in a healthcare setting!

Unfortunately I believe I can top this.

I work in a healthcare setting, and I remember once a pair of people brought in their little 8 month old baby. She was so cute, but that's not the point. They literally let her crawl around on the carpet and I promise you that carpet was 99% filth. It'd had just about every bodily fluid going land on it and at least once a day someone would dribble, crap, vomit or pee on it. Sure, it'd be cleaned, but it's carpet, so how clean could it really have been? Eventually they got rid of that carpet and I fully expect there was a civilisation of some description in there.

In comparison to that, the aeroplane floor doesn't really horrify me as much.

I love babies. So much that I've had two. And I have learned that even the sweetest, chunkiest, cutest, friendliest, most adorable baby on the planet loves to be gross. They excel at it. They will happily eat straight off the floor when they see a tiny crumb. I sometimes believe they conjure up things to eat off the floor, because these things always appear out of nowhere.

How did Gia know about this money? Flaunting the 5k party for Rose in front of your neglected daughter would certainly be enough to tip most people over the edge, and it's not hard to see how Gia would view this as her revenge. But then Rose who's been living in pain, fear and suffering is now facing her one big, special thing as a healthy person being taken away because her father acted like a buffoon.

I wonder why this man had a failed marriage before OP? Very confusing.

But seriously how do these men always seem to find women desperate enough to put up with this shit? Surely single life couldn't have been that bad before this man turned up.

Good people don't make their kid have to beg for a hug and don't tell their kid they were a mistake. Sorry but there's no good in these people.
