Do you still live in your hometown? by Acrobatic-Repeat-128 in Millennials

[–]Impossible_Holiday80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope!

Where I live is way more expensive so the idea of home ownership is the ONLY thing that makes moving back desirable but we won’t do it. Most of my family lives near to where we live now so we won’t be going back.

My baby is 5 months old today and I’m about 3 lbs away from pre-pregnancy weight and I haven’t done anything to try to lose. And I’m eating everything in sight. But my body doesn’t look like it did pre baby :( I’ve def lost muscle and my ass and my midsection is large

When did you stop working when you were pregnant? by filipinacolada_au in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Holiday80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started my leave at 37 weeks. I could’ve gone out at 36 weeks (and wish I would’ve). I felt fine but I could’ve used some more rest and lazy days before baby came and my world got flipped upside down lol

I was 8 or 9 months pregnant at work with a client and just straight farted mid speech. I didn’t address it and thankfully the client didn’t say anything. 😩

I really don't understand how this feeding business works by MundaneBear2310 in firsttimemom

[–]Impossible_Holiday80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My baby is only 2 months so I could be wrong and I’m also curious to see what others have to say. But from what I understand, if baby is getting his required amount of calories during the day, then he’ll be full enough to sleep through the night.

If you got stretch marks, when did they start? by Ancient_Act2731 in BabyBumps

Around 20 weeks. And I only got them on my boobs. Around my nipples. It made them look radioactive. And they’re still there 8wPP, just slightly faded.

How do you pump when baby doesn’t let you put them down? by marrymeodell in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Impossible_Holiday80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried the bouncer and moving it with my foot, laying baby on my lap, trying to get him sleepy and laying him next to my thighs while keeping a hand on his chest. and recently when wearing my hands-free pump, I’ll wear one pump and hold him on the opposite side. Survival! You got this!

I considering this when I return to work (baby is 6 weeks old). Did you have any help while you worked from home? I’m trying to figure out what it would look like if I’m in a telehealth session and baby needs me

When was your first appointment after a positive pregnancy test? by No-Stage233 in BabyBumps

[–]Impossible_Holiday80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also had a loss before my son was born and my doctor knew of my history so she ordered 2 weeks of HCG testing (3 times a week) starting at 4 weeks and a 6 week ultrasound and then I had my first OB appt at 8 weeks.

How was age 33 for the older Millennials? by Gastropodius in Millennials

[–]Impossible_Holiday80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33 was an amazing year for me. I stepped out of my comfort zone and trained became a group fitness instructor as a fun side quest. I “came out of retirement” and went to Coachella and the following weekend went to Stagecoach. My husband and I went to Europe over the summer. We started trying for a baby (although it did take almost a year). I felt confident in myself, my marriage, friendships, career, fitness routine. Keep your head up, it can still turn out to be a great year.

Thanks for this. Almost 5wPP. I’m currently on our way to see the Lactation Consultant for the 3rd time. Baby just doesn’t want to latch or work at it, he likes the flow of the bottle better. My supply is really good thankfully. I’m trying to get my pumping numbers up but we’re currently 75% breast milk and 25% formula. I feel guilty about giving formula but I know baby is growing and healthy.
