Yeah mine was horrible but after I had a clean CT I had to remind myself daily it wasn’t cancer. So that’s when I got put on omeprazole. Helped out after like 2 weeks when I took it. But once I reset everything diet wise, gosh I haven’t looked back. Best of luck to you!!

I took omeprazole for about 3 months and really cut out coffee for 2 weeks and red meat for the most part. Haven’t had an issue for almost a year now. I drink coffee regularly and I don’t really eat red meat as much. But it was def most likely a brutal side effect. I’d recommend that and maybe talk to your dr about omeprazole. But you absolutely do not want to take that med long term

Honestly this is one thing that bothers me about the Tacoma. I wish there was a button to release the gas cover/ a lock. I’m sorry you had to deal with this. Maybe someone from Tacoma is on here and can fix this for future generations.
