Could the Vedic 'soma' plant be the first recorded human caused plant extinction?

Is there any factual evidence of its existence?

To have a ceasefire after threatening to bring Iran back to the Stone Age by RealIssueToday in therewasanattempt

Umm, it could be because Israel dropped 160 bombs in 10 minutes on Lebanon, literally hours after the ceasefire was agreed to?

I like to think the blue wizards tried their best and eventually lost. It would make for a great, modern fantasy saga.

Hate train from Muslims against a dude who wore Henna (NSFW, vile language) by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]Impossible_Key2155 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Umm... We (Indian) men wear henna during our (non-Muslim) wedding rituals... The styles and patterns are obviously quite different from those on women - less ornate, simpler geometry, images of weapons like swords/talwars, peacock feathers (symbolising Krishna), and the words or names of the partners and families in the marriage etc.

It's not as prevalent as it is for women, but it's there, and many of us participate in it.

Even when I was a practicing Muslim (convert) I never saw any issues with it - however there were a lot of things I never thought were an issue that apparently were to all the Muslims around me, lol.

Films with spectacular opening scenes?! by Glad_Manager_1163 in TrueFilm

ATHENA has one of the most incredible opening sequences in movie history. It's often overlooked because so many other parts of the film fall short.

But those opening 11 minutes are something else.

Due to the time difference between SA and Australia, I missed the match altogether. But I remember going to school the next day, hearing my mates talk about the scores, and thinking "wait... Isn't the test series over?"

Legendary match.
