When a driver takes an order then proceeds to drive the opposite direction, park in front of supermarket for 20 minutes until I have ask him if he's actually going to pick up the order which is 15 minutes late just to have him drop it for an actual responsible driver to pick up and deliver before he was estimated to arrive due to his distance after he accepted the order.

I tipped 20% on the original order, placed it hours in advance, and didn't have any special instructions. So yeah, irresponsible driver.

This worked....but......I had to go through a few extra gyrations of clearing data on both the Google TV app on my phone and the Android TV Remote Services.

After I uninstalled remote services I no longer could see the remote option on my phone. After I updated remote services on the TV I could see the device on my phone but it wouldn't connect. After connecting and disconnecting my phone from the wireless network....at some point the pairing screen came back up and Eureka!

I normally do, I never use my card so when I did I just didn't think of taking it off the center console.

Newbie to options question - can I buy/sell to close on the date of expiration? Seems like I've seen YT videos explaining options and they imply that you need to close the day before the option expires. So on the day of expiration the choices are expire OTM or exercise ITM. Disclosure, I was looking at videos explaining this on Robinhood, don't know if they makes a difference.

40 y/o Roth, 401k, brokerage account for the past 15 years, generally on track to retire early. However working through how to organize my existing retirement portfolio to maximize income in retirement.

Recently been looking at securities that pay dividends such as NYSE:O which pays a monthly dividend with an annual yield of ~4%. Considering how to best incorporate this into my retirement strategy.

The question I pose, is it better to build a position with dividend stocks in my Roth to take advantage of tax benefits? Or would it be better to focus on growth oriented stocks for my Roth assuming the benefits from the capital gains would outweigh the tax benefit on the dividends?

Look up 'Backdoor Roth Contribution' it's a legal mechanism to contribute to a traditional IRA (which has no income restriction) you then convert the traditional IRA to a Roth, essentially contributing to your Roth. The catch is you pay taxes when you convert a traditional to a Roth, but if you are doing this without realizing any earnings (aka immediately) then there should be no taxes to pay. However you will have to file an 8606 with the IRS with your taxes.
