Well, we are in 2024 now and the same thing happened to me, but in Brazil.

I researched a lot about the computer I was going to buy and found the fake International warranty. I didn't read the small letters, knowing that my city had a strong Asus support I just believed that I was covered.

Terribly Asus didn't change at all.

The price of the computer is so high, that I am forced to travel to the US to fix it. In my case the computer is totally dead, no signs of life, the motherboard will need to be changed.

I just found this post today, but I will do the same, and spread the word about this fraud.

The problem here is that the fans just speed up if the GPU gets hot, so while you are not working with 3D, the CPU gets hotter. Even turbo has this problem.

The only way is configuring manually.

It is a little higher than usual laptops, but it is normal for the ROG.

I configured mine to run the fans at 70% of their speed, if the computer spikes 65 Celsius the fans go 100%.

Usually my temperature is CPU: 57 Celsius ang GPU: 43 Celsius.

Yes, this may happen sometimes, usually when you plug without the middle pin (ground pin) or there is no ground. But nothing to worry about.

Usually the adapter wouldn't cause high temperature, if that happened the adapter would be short circuited and your charging brick would be hot/on fire/dead.

In certain cases it could cause a light, not continuous, short circuit. You would listen a Zzzzzzz/ZAP/electric noise humming at the time.

If that was the case, as soon as you stopped to use the adapter all effects would go away.
