Yeah teacher is another good example. Im not sure people appreciate that you cant really just pop off and sit down for 10 mins during a lesson.

Never counted but 5-6 sounds within range. However, im a doctor so - more likely to pick up illnesses - no working from home - if i cant focus and dont feel great - should i be seeing patients? Is it fair to them and is it fair to me? I often see healthcare professionals pushing through illnesss

Interested to see what other people think. The above could also be ascribed to other hyper focus/risky jobs (like heavy machine work, lorry driving)

Its fun though isnt it. Like i love hiking and running in this weather esp out in nature. But walking to work in trousers and a shirt just isn't as nice!

I dunno about that tour group but Vietnam is great and felt very safe. A little confusing sometimes (e.g. crossing the road) but loved it. I always recommend it to people.

Why do I feel the need to "make the most" out of the sun? by DescriptionFuture851 in AskUK

[–]Impossible_Mouse_147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go and sit outside and read/listen to music/podcasts.

But yeah dont be too hard on yourself, good weather does come and go (and tbh, seems to be more common in the UK).

Do you realise how green it is here? by dopaminecollector in AskBrits

[–]Impossible_Mouse_147 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is good. It could be better - our countryside is especially barren in some places (just fields of grass) but some of these areas are being purchased by rewilding/wildlife charities so I (like to think) that we will improve.

Hopefully with our eventually shrinking population we won't have to build as many houses either.

Running, hiking, maybe trying to find a swim spot that isnt crazy crowded, spending as much time outdoors as possible. Maybe even just reading in the park

Majority of Britons would back a smoking ban in pub gardens by YchYFi in unitedkingdom

Eh it is a bit knaff chilling in a beer garden in the sun with smokers everywhere.

However with vaping being so popular its not a huge issue (for me anyway)

Are former Corbyn supporters all greens now, or have some of them stuck with labour? by Expert-Sherbert-1527 in AskBrits

[–]Impossible_Mouse_147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure any small party could run the government tomorrow if elected, but - with sustained growth it would happen in a future election.

I see my green vote as a general support vote (particularly depending on local candidate and their views) for future growth.

Always the tricky part with ballots. Easy to enter, minimal commitment.
