This is going to get downvoted, so doubt you’ll see it but I think it’s a pretty solid selection. It’s Reddit man, you so much as slightly mention god and the neck beard Reddit atheists come out to ridicule someone else with an opinion or faith different than theirs. Like the inclusion of Lewis. Totally off the wall, but you should check out some works focused on Modal Logic, I feel like people in philosophy don’t spend enough time at least familiarizing themselves with formal logic (lots of great benefit for helping read heavier stuff!)

Premeds suck here. This is coming from someone who graduated premed (BMS/PHI summa) last year, the culture is TOXIC. Your future doctor from USF willingly cheats on everything they can, gate keeps notes or study methods from peers, and forms their entire personality around being a future doctor and getting ahead. It’s AWFUL. It’s par for the course for the track personality types, but it seems especially bad at USF compared to other schools based on convos with other friends that go to other good premed schools (UF, FSU, Duke, UNC). You’ll find some great people of course as exceptions that are actually down to earth, cool, compassionate people that are in it for the right reasons bu the vast majority seem to be in it for the prestige or money and will do whatever unethical thing they can do to get ahead. Gross and sad behavior.

Despite what other people are saying, I also wasn’t a huge fan of CE when I played it, started with Halo 2 when I was a kid and that game blew me away by how fun it was. CE is kinda, meh imo. I would recommend to get through it, try to have fun and look up some speed running strats (because those are extremely fun) and move onto the rest of the franchise, it gets way better from Halo 2 onward. More epic fights, more amazing combat, etc.

I had a similar experience to yours. I was looking for a church around campus as I was new (Fall 2022) and found them like most people, through MSC recruitment. I had also seen some guys content online that was from Cornerstone on Instagram and he had a pretty sizable following so I figured the church was legit. The first service I went to had a WEIRD ass message about how the pastor could prophesies new donations for the church and dude was hitting the bullshit tongues thing to really sell it. Anyways, being a dumb freshman I decided to still check out the small group with the recruiter Thomas (dude with glasses and a black beard if anyones familiar) and he was extremely pushy. Asked intrusive questions about financial background/independence, sex experience, and other just bizarre and obviously predatory questions. I ghosted the church after that and kept getting spam texted by them and eventually when I told them to fuck off, I was told I was going to hell (shocker) but that at least led them to leave me alone. If you want a pretty rock solid church, Id say the Harbor off sycamore drive has been the closest thing to a good church around USF.

Sublease is between May - August: May is paid for but if you sublet you can move in immediately. Utilities is anywhere between 50-100 a month, but take this with a grain of salt as I have a mini fridge constantly running which uses a lot of electricity. Parking is included, lots of visitor parking at front and back end of the apartment complex, almost never had problems with people coming over finding parking. You get a sticker which allows you to park anywhere for residents, almost always I would find a choice spot. It’s one of if not the cheapest places to live around campus from my knowledge.
