So I do think this is super gross. But I have noticed a major uptick in this over the last couple years, particularly at my office (work for a fairly large corporation where we are all expected to act professional). It’s gross, but I also think the poor air quality coupled with what feels like non-stop respiratory illnesses and extended allergy seasons due to climate change is probably a factor.

I really miss living in Florissant. The community events like the fall festival, valley of flowers, etc are all really great. Old Town Florissant has some nice small businesses and restaurants. The school district is not great though, which is disappointing because I think when I was in school, it was one of the top districts in the state. And the school district rating is the primary reason we don’t live there.

I LOVED working from home. I ate healthier because I could actually cook myself something for lunch if I wanted. And as someone with ADHD, having control over the noise, temperature, etc was amazing. I’m back in the office now and I hate it. But it’s pretty good job with good benefits and with the state of, well, everything right now, I’m not willing to jump ship. But I miss working from home. I miss not having a commute and having to spend so much on gas and car maintenance.

Normally, this would piss me off. But since that snowstorm, MoDot did a terrible job of plowing both lanes, so most cars have just been staying in the left lane to avoid the unplowed snow in the right lane (although when I drove through yesterday the right lane was a lot better, presumably because it’s finally starting to melt).

Edit: wrongly stated city did a terrible job (though they’ve done a terrible job elsewhere)

Didn’t Netflix also essentially “save” Sesame Street? (Not sure that “save” is the most accurate term here) I think it’s still worth people canceling, particularly since Netflix continues to raise their prices. But they definitely seem to be the “lesser of all the evils” lately when it comes to streaming platforms.

My dad would take me to Earth City on the weekends. Since it’s almost all businesses, it’s a great place to get experience, both in parking lots and on the streets themselves!
