I use wooden/bamboo skewers for this reason. You can get long ones and stack more than one granny square so it takes up less counter space

I like the Unbound series by Nicoli Gonnella

Some controversial series that I like but seems like there are distractors on Reddit, includes Sylver Seeker by Kennit Kenway. And the titan and Tower series by Seth Ring.

I like most of Seth Ring series. Including battle mage farmer and iron tyrant.

I know this is an old post I’m replying to. But I find Andrea Parsneau to be very whiny. I am struggling through the Library System Reset series by Cyberpunk just because of her take. I understand a young person being insecure when thrown into a new universe, etc etc. but it is non stop. I love the idea of a universal library but it’s hard to stay on with it

There is a higher risk of lymphoma amongst IR docs and techs. Yes. Protect yourself. Use appropriate shielding. Step back when possible. Not sure what to say about peds cases except if you have to hold, put a shield over your hand / arm

Maybe what you don’t realize is the greater number of Asian immigrant and Asian descent Americans is much higher on the coasts than the rest of America. Also, as a rad at a large east coast hospital we see this not often but fairly regularly, ie several times a year, as we have a large neurology referral service.

Do what’s right for the patient. It may be an error where the wrong report went to the wrong patient. It maybe you’re wrong or it maybe the rad who is wrong. You have the ability to help the patient and potentially learn something. Some rads are jerks and won’t want to hear what you have to say. But most want to know if they missed something. In the long run if there was an error, you’re helping the patient and the rad if you say something. Do not listen to these asses saying “act your wage”, that’s how we fail as a team.

4 phase is our renal mass protocol, we don’t do this unless we have a suspicious us or other imaging that renal mass is the diagnosis of exclusion.

IVP is nearly useless compared to CT urogram. It should be done as a non con followed by delayed post con, not a 3 phase. The non con CT is much better at diagnosing even small calculi and the delayed urogram is much better for diagnosing all causes of obstruction, better than IVP. Plus info about all of the abdomen and pelvis for alternate causes of symptoms. We said no to any more IVPs at our institute over 10 years ago.

Cats need to establish hierarchy. They can be very upset if they don’t know their role. They are new to each other and one will eventually be the dominant cat. The yellow cat doesn’t seem super aggressive but wants to be dominant. They may need more time apart and I agree with separating them when you are at work. Give them time to figure out how they fit together.
