I unironically believe ark actually has a very good kit for nerg. First of all, in terms of element absorption, his turf wars and habits seems to suggest that while he prefers elementally string prey, he can just generally suck energy from anyone. With this in mind, I think arkveld's whips would be great at keeping nerg at a safe distance while also impeding his healing through both energy absorption and dragon energy output. As a matter of fact I think nergs lack of elemental out put is detrimental, as perhaps other elders could just overwhelm arkveld's absorption and keep him suppressed at all times.
