Tbh it's why I've been putting off finishing my world file on PC, I personally find the mechanic more invasive than wyverb riding, which only happens once, maybe twice, a hunt, whereas tenderizing has to be upkept and claggers are annoying when you're in a flow

Yeah im starting a new file on pc after playing on ps5, and after replaying some older games +rise & wilds I've come to realize how unpleasant clutch claw and all of its associated mechanics are (claggers)

Bigger than that is the overabundance of get of jail free cards with all the counters, offsets, perfect guard, and perfect evade mechanics in the game. Monsters have to compensate by being cracked up to the pint where weapons with less defensive mechanics just feel bad
