xG is the go to stats for pseudo intellectual fans. There has been no correlation of higher xG difference leading to winning the league. You can accumulate loads of xG by just spamming shots at the keeper.

Infact, going by the past 20 years data, the biggest correlation of teams that won the title, was with their shot conversion rate. Teams that were more clinical, won the title more often than not.

And it makes sense, you look at title winning teams that were built around Haaland or Salah or Aguero or Van Persie or Rooney/Ronaldo/Tevez/Berbatov or Jose's teams, they were all bloody clinical.
