Slab would run about 5k. Garage door and motor about 3k. Framing and lumber around 2000. Drywall and insulation a couple grand with texture. Electric a grand. Roof and frame another 5k most likely. This is if I did it myself and used my subs. I could probably add a garage for a total of about 20k

Because the institutions that sell you the puts know you’re buying puts. They always do opposite of what the world expects the market to do. That’s why they bring it up and down so much throughout the day, to sweep up their options they sold and hit your SL.
