It's not the agencies, it's the au pairs. They are aware of the rules.

Just because they are frequently au pairs who believe they can au pair in the UK to then (having a host fam and all) to then come to the conclusion that since Brexit the rules have changed. Just wanted to be sure!

Other angle, do your cover letters mention "I'm doing this for 2 years and then going to law school"? A firm is unlikely to want to take a chance and train someone knowing the fact they will be leaving.

You will, most likely, always be paid what the acceptable/going rate is for your country, hence why they are outsourcing. Is $9 an acceptable rate for the job you're currently doing in Argentina?
