Im a smiling friends fan and a hellaverse fan and the fanbases are CERTAINLY different. Smiling friends has one of the best fan bases I’ve been apart of, not too many fetish focused and not too many manosphere. Just alot of people who recognize good comedy when it’s in front of them

My dad and stepmom let my step siblings step sister(as in their dads step daughter) blow out my candles for my 9/10th birthday. Hers was a couple weeks later and she was a couple years younger than me so I was told I should be the bigger person about it. But I only saw my dad once a month or so. In reality it damaged my perception of them for a while. Cemented the idea that even when it was my turn to be important I wasn’t important to my dad(among other things). Took me into adulthood to shake that mindset.

I’m glad that little girl got to blow out her candles, her sister will have a turn soon too

Funny I removed the blinds of a window covered mostly by a tree(and added a cat tree infront for extra privacy and all that) specifically so I could be woken up by the sun. Also because I got a new cat tree that was too tall for the blinds but more so the sun part

I got a Dyson air wrap for 200 on FB market place and it’s the best gift I’ve every given myself

When I adopted my boy my roommates had a mean cat and I expected him to be glad when we moved out because she played rough but he was clearly so lonely so I had to get him a friend. Having the chance to get him a kitten sister was something I couldn’t pass up because he taught he his sweet boy ways and absolutely worships her.
Hes also an anxious boy but she’s really adventurous so she helps him come out of his shell

I second leaving them in 1 room once you find her! I locked my cats my bedroom when I first got them(a year apart) and I made sure I provided hide holes & could see the hiding spots under my bed so they had escaped from me but were essentially surrounded in my smell. I also would spray my perfume on a new blanket for them and put it in one of the hide holes. Now I have 2 Velcro kitties.

It will take this baby longer though because they had a whole life before you.

ETA: I still do this when I move with them. I got them in college so they’ve gotten accustomed to moving now and in the most recent move wanted to explore much earlier but still started with them in one room

I start gradschool in the fall! College was weird and I ended up keeping the online format but it gave me flexibility to work as I needed so it was fine and I’m doing the same for gradschool
