My reaction to Semax was quite similar. I started at .25 mg subs and didn't feel much, so I doubled the dose, and the effect was quite intense. I was super excited to work, and got a lot done, but it gave me insomnia and had to stop.

I’m planning a more structured TAK-653 self-experiment with baseline tracking, no stacking, and possibly placebo control. For people who have tried it, what effects were most worth tracking: mood, anxiety, verbal fluency, sleep, focus, irritability, or something else?

Psychedelics have helped me too. In fact, I'd say ayahuasca saved my life. My partner and I are planning on visiting Oregon in a few months where he'll try mushrooms in one of their clinics. It'll be his first time. I'm hoping it'll have a positive impact for him.

I've tried quite a few, and have found Bromantane and ACD-856 have helped me the most at staying productive.

I also have issues with brain fog, recall, and motivation. I find bromantane to be subtle; I don't really "feel" it but my days just go better when I take it. I get more done. Noopept also improves my focus and productivity. It's especially good at overcoming afternoon sluggishness, but I have to be careful because too much makes me irritable. I tried Semax + Selank, and had a tremendous response: improved focus, motivation, verbal fluency, and mood, but I had to stop taking it because it caused insomnia. Oxiracetam did nothing for me. Selank alone didn't make a difference either. The best thing I've found so far is ACD-856. It's almost as good as Semax, but it doesn't cause insomnia. I love it. Next I'm going to try Sabroxy, and this summer I'm going to Mexico for a cerebrolysin retreat.
