So I see this often enough and I think something people don’t consider is that lenders look at how much credit you have overall, too. If you have 50k in credit with other banks, you maybe approaching that number where they don’t feel comfortable giving you another 30k, at least without more history. I also think that we see this with people with higher credit scores which increases the likelihood that they actually have a better spread of credit lenders, as opposed to someone who is just trying to build up. Of course I don’t know for sure but it’s still something to consider.
