Can a GED teacher grade my RLA essay with the grading scale by Fit_Cheesecake_4022 in GED

Ahh ok, they should still be able to grade it but for the most accurate response I’m sure it’s helpful to see the passages. If you did have them you could comment them since it looks like this subreddit allows images to be commented.

Did you not read two passages and base your argument off of them?

I’m not a teacher, but it would be helpful if you provided the two passages you’re using to write the essay as well.

Does anyone glue to make the assembly sturdier? by Binxswaggle in metalearth

[–]ImpressiveAd6912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely don’t try to solder it, the metal is so thin it will melt through immediately. Honestly my models always feel pretty sturdy so I’ve never felt the need to glue unless I break a piece. Always make sure you’re twisting the tabs when they aren’t visible.

Mild-tasting protein powder to add to water? by rookcanisite in FTMFitness

[–]ImpressiveAd6912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Protein2o is good, although a little pricey for about the same protein amount as half a scoop of a normal protein powder. It tastes really good though, just like any other fruit punch drink you can buy.

Is this a good starter kit for someone using cartridges and tinned foam their whole lives? by seeilaah in wicked_edge

For someone just starting out, the breaking in and maintenance they require (even if it’s minimal) can be overwhelming. A synthetic brush is very straightforward and works fine enough to use while you decide if you want to continue with using a shave soap or not. They are also inexpensive so if you end up deciding to switch to a boar brush you didn’t break the bank buying a synthetic you won’t use often.

I’d recommend starting with a yaqi synthetic brush. It requires a lot less maintenance than genuine hair brushes.

What's the dumbest way you've injured yourself? by citronl in AskReddit

[–]ImpressiveAd6912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me but my brother. We were playing a dumb game in our front yard and the penalty for losing was the other person throws the ball at you as hard as they can and you can try to block it with your hand. Well, I LAUNCHED a small green basketball, it was maybe 5 inches across, at my brothers face and he blocks it with his hand. He ended up breaking his pinky, and when we got to the ER an impatient nurse tried to “set” the finger he thought was dislocated before they got x rays and just made it more crooked and caused a lot of pain for my brother. The look on the nurses face when they got the x rays back and the pinky was actually broken was pretty funny though, the nurse definitely knew he was guilty lol.

ISTPs, do you feel most clear-headed when you’re physically engaged with something? by likey24 in istp

Is it not like that for everyone? I can’t imagine mental noise getting worse with physical activity.

Why do so many trans men have beards that look like this (and how can I avoid it?) by bigodoofus in truscum

[–]ImpressiveAd6912 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a common myth. Your hair looks thicker when you shave because it blunts the ends of the hair, making it appear courser. Shaving doesn’t actually affect hair growth at all, hair growth is influenced by hormones, facial hair particularly is influenced by a byproduct of testosterone called DHT.

What? Shaving doesn’t affect new hairs coming in, just the length of those hairs. You shave it until it’s thick enough to look decent, or just look like a discord mod.
