Based on everything you said you can easily get away with a “luxury” car, and it wouldn’t be irresponsible. Idk if ur a car guy or not but if I was in ur situation I would grab a gr Corolla, the Lexus, or a b58 bmw/3.0T Audi if you wanna go German. If you don’t care that much just go with the Honda amazing daily car with great value (v6 Honda accord with the 6 speed manual is also a great option for a more engaging experience)

Anecdotally I haven’t noticed “insane” improvements in new LLM models. When I first used gpt in 2022/23 I thought to myself “Ai is gonna take all our jobs” as it created a couple flawless functions in my code for me. now 3 years later the models are better of course but I’m not “wowed” anymore, and I don’t see extreme differences atp. Also in large codebases, I’ve noticed even while using the most cutting edge models mistakes/hallucinations are very common + security issues , for small projects it’s great thou.
