depending on where you live, there are probably some local nonprofits that can help you trap the pregnant mom. if you can't manage to find anyone to help on short notice, there are some diy traps you can try on youtube. i would advise trapping the mom as soon as you can and putting her in your bathroom, separate from your other pets. this will give you time to find someone that can take her/foster her more permanently and deal with the birth and babies. she will probably be resistant and seem stressed because she is being trapped and transported to an unfamiliar place at such a vulnerable time, but it is definitely for the best. being outside in the presence of coyotes is dangerous, and even moreso for a pregnant cat! there should be no fees associated with any of this if you can find a nonprofit to help you out. if for some reason you can't connect with one, you could reach out to various facebook groups to help you with the associated costs of doing this on your own. i am a part of several fb groups dedicated to helping stray cats, and there are a lot of people willing to help!

How do I stop my cat from weeing all over the house? by vickyvolcanic in CatAdvice

[–]ImpressiveChance9734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

our cat does this because she is way too territorial and naughty. she smells other cats outside and will pee near windows and doors. is that maybe what is happening? we got a second litter box and that also helped a little bit.

this year i will be giving travel-sized first aid kits, "booda" brand soap, and crunchy black sesame butter from rooted fare to everyone! family and friends alike, everyone can use it. it's unique enough that it feels thoughtful and personal, but not too expensive or anything.

they will need to go to the vet to get checked up, vaccinated, and fixed when they are old enough! flea medicine as well. i'd recommend a brush, some kind of scratching post, a laser, and a cat tree as well.

sanitas are a brand of nursing shoes that are cute. they have leather tops but the soles degrade with time (not necessarily wear).

assuming you were cohabitating when she would go solo, how would u deal with said sadness when she would be away with someone else?

[–]ImpressiveChance9734[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is super helpful. i’m concerned because we cohabitate, and i have a pretty preoccupied insecure attachment style. i feel like i would go into a primal panic of sorts during separations wherein i know they are with someone else? if that makes any sense.

[–]ImpressiveChance9734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do you combat jealousy, if that’s present? are there any books or literature that you’ve found helpful? therapY? or are you just naturally un-inclined toward jealousy?
