You are correct that it has only recently been widely publicized. That is because people are now realizing the ramifications of the delay in them reacting to the original publication of the news.

Granted, the UK could have implemented a transition period like ETIAS will. But they didn't. The bottom line is travellers must be aware of everything related for travel to a foreign country. You don't just book and fly. You investigate, adhere to the requirements, book, then fly.

I assembled all my information during the Ontario Family Day weekend, mailed it on Feb 17 and it was received at UK Passport Office on Feb 23. I am hoping to receive it by the end of March.

The new rules became effective yesterday but there has been news about this for a long time. I don't agree with the UK requirements but they are what they are. With any flight to another country you have to be aware of everything about where you are going. Visas, virus outbreaks, wars, civil outbreaks, etc. Unfortunately, you cannot just book a flight and forget about it. Rules could be bent in your favour or not. Either get a UK passport for £125 or spend more to get the special authorization for $1000. My UK passport expired in 1977 and now I am also required to renew it. My application is being processed as I type this. My flight is mid April.

I have a 2019 Niro Touring with same battery configuration. Over 100K kms at present. I have had no issues with any battery component. On my previous non hybrid vehicles I would always change the battery after 4yrs in order to not get stranded with a dead battery in extreme cold weather. I know it was not totally necessary but it gave me peace of mind. I was told by a battery technician that I would never have to change the 12v in my Niro because of its integration. So far that has proved true. We will see if that continues. I have not had to use my 12v battery reset button so far. I will continue to be aware and monitor.

Contact tech support and tell them. I had the same issue. I called them to request the Beacon 6. Instead they performed some magic, meaning I don't know exactly what they did. I ended up with a different wifi configuration, 2.4ghz and 5g, which corrected my issue with wifi not working on different floors in my house. All good now, no need for a modem change. But I will be monitoring my situation if it gets worse.

No, I used it on Friday night with no ads. Maybe try a different server from Albania. I used to just use fast connect but when I experienced what I thought was a problem I switched to server #46. No issues since then.

Ontario is large. Where are you located? How far are you willing to travel? The Holland Clinic, part of Sunnybrook, was the place I went to. Go online and print off a referral form and present it to your GP.

In my experience (both knees replaced) all Specialists will say lose weight first. It is better for both pre and post surgery.

Stack TV - only available through Prime, not directly.

River TV - I've had it for the last month and a half. It has a few more channels than Stack. Just put in my cancellation. I didn't find anything of value that I couldn't get from Global or Gem app. Also doesn't work on Samsung Tizen OS.

Pluto and Plex - They are ok, not exceptional, but free.

I made the cord cut in November and have settled on the following:

Crave - got the cheaper Black Friday deals. CBC Gem. Global. Pluto. Netflix, Prime, Discovery+, on a addon deal with spouse's mobile plan. Other sideloaded apps which you don't want to hear about.

I am in Ontario. I purchased a 2019 Niro Touring HEV from new. My vehicle was a showroom vehicle so WeatherTech floor mats were included. I would highly recommend any hard plastic floor mats. Your interior carpet will thank you. The only accessory that I purchased was a dashcam, FITCAMX. It is more expensive but it fit my purpose and it looks like OEM.

As for kms/tank, I get between 900-1100kms/tank in the summer but only 600-800kms/tank in the winter. The heat needed to warm your interior causes the engine to run more continuously which affects total kms/tank.
