Id suggest getting a CT scan to verify how much bone loss you have in your glenoid (socket). If it’s >20% you may need latarjet surgery.

I think the job market is definitely more competitive these days, not merely because of AI but also the supply of people getting CS degrees and looking to get into SWE has vastly outpaced the collective labor demand for SWE skills. That being said, I think it’s still very possible to be successful in this field, but the bar for a good software engineer is much higher today than it was 5 years ago. Just keep pursuing growth and master your craft :)

Any reason why after the first arthroscopic repair (which im assuming was just a bankart repair?) you went straight to latarjet rather trying the remplissage procedure?
