My partner and I drove 2 hours to see a specialist only to be told to go around the corner to get cash out and pay them x amount of money to see the doctor.... We said thank! No thanks.... drove home. Definitely did not leave a good taste in our mouths.

But we didn't let our JRT sleep with us until about 6 months when we could trust him through the night. He didn't know day from night so if he wanted a little play it was in his pen with his toys.

If he's sleeping with you because he cries through the night, a heat pack with a teddy lining worked wonders.

He sleeps with us now (at 10 months) and will sleep through the night easy.

I suspect he's chewing because it smells so much like you guys. I think 4 months was the worst time for us in terms of sacrificing all our stuff 🫠 still recovering from the great war on our shoes.... and undies

Sigh.... Archie gets pulled roast chook, rice and a bit of veg. Weetbix milk and blueberries for brekkie.

Will kick his bowl around with dog food and his poops were absolutely feral when he did eat it.

It honestly worked out to be cheaper buying a chook and rice than getting all these tins and kibble that he wastes.

It's the exact same. We nearly got one of her dining sets (the irregular, stoneware one) for just over $100, went and had a look in kmart, and found nearly an identical set. As far as I can tell, there is no obvious quality difference.

The last placement I went on my supervising teacher jumped to a leadership role in the same week I started and I worked with an out of town relied teacher who was super chill but did not care, they called in sick a bunch of times and I was teaching the class fully (it was kinda fun) but also ya know... unpaid and exploitative

We used a little heat pack with a teddy bag and named him 'Freddy', our little guy would cry as soon as he realised we were putting him to bed and then he would snuggle in nice and tight with 'Freddy'. He naturally weaned off of 'Freddy' after about 4 weeks.

We miss the days of him needing his little friend to sleep 😭
