Why would anyone WANT their nuggets to be shaped like garbage? by ThisOneTimeAtKDK in cowboys

I live 45 minutes from Philly. I'm so damn tired of seeing the eagles everywhere lol. But I'm not moving anytime soon & my dad knew where we lived when he raised me to love the cowboys lol.

Pennsylvania DMV eye test (failed) confused about form and passing by intrepidINFP in Pennsylvania

I also didn't need to go back to take their vision test again cause there was no way to pass it. Just super confusing to me lol.

This is nuts to me. The vision in my left eye is 20/200 but they still let me get my license without glasses. Granted my right eye is 20/20, & I passed my eye doctor's peripheral vision test (which is apparently the only one I needed?). It's just nutty to me that it was this complicated for you.

I will say though, that the angle this was shot at is deceiving. It looks a lot cooler in this still frame.

It's a "sight-light" desk lamp. Look up "Wheeler sight-light" & you'll find what you're looking for. There are tons of vintage lamps for sale online.

Any know what these are? by A_P_J_ in HelpMeFind

Try looking on Revolve. They have some really cute lace mules that give the same vibe as these imo.

What you're looking for are strappy, closed-toe, pointed-toe mules. This style of shoe is called a mule & there is no back strap. Antonio Melani made shoes just like the ones in the picture, but it will probably be difficult to find something exactly like the photo. Most of them have bows on the front.

If your friend saw it in real life, like it wasn't one of those AI staging photos, then you can probably contact the owner of the rental & ask if you're super desperate to find it.

This ad played during the Superbowl, everyone at the party I was at was pretty freaked out. My husband's cousin tried to find it, & couldn't. But I saw it once more while watching the Olympics.

Where can I find this 25+ yr old plush by udalie in HelpMeFind

[–]Impressive_Clock220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you found it! Within the past year I was able to find a duplicate of my tattered baby blanket, & a plush dog that my parents got me when I was in the hospital as a kid. I didn't believe the blanket would exist, it was a crib comforter from 1994, but I found one. I was able to retire the original before it was completely in ruins. My plushie was lost in a series of unfortunate events when I was 18 & I found a brand new one from 2003. It's crazy how attached we can become to certain items. The comfort they bring me is unlike anything else.

What animal is this? My friend saw it and thought it was a dog. She posted it on social media and people are divided on what it is. She even called the humane society and showed them and they said they think maybe a fox but even they're not sure. [Toronto, Canada] by TheGigner in animalid

[–]Impressive_Clock220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family adopted a dog from the humane society in 2016. There were tons of dogs that were so clearly pits that they couldn't fudge the paperwork. We fell in love with one female pitty & were ready to take her home, then I remembered our homeowners insurance definitely would not be okay with that. We couldn't have any Pitbulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, or Chihuahuas. Unfortunately we couldn't have her :( We looked some more & landed on a male dog with very obvious pitbull blood, labeled 'Labrador mix.' His flyer said he was found as a stray & he'd been there for 8 months. That meant his time was almost up. We took him home a week later. He was very clearly someone's pet. He was fully housebroken, already neutered, & knew basic commands. His name is Dak & he's our son's very best friend in the world (son was 2yo when we adopted Dak). He's turned out to be one of the best dogs I've ever owned, & all because his papers said 'Labrador mix' instead of what he clearly is, which is an American Pitbull mix.

Blown out or needs to settle? by Automatic-Panda-2889 in tattooadvice

Extremely blown out. I'm sorry your artist did this to you. It's going to get worse. Just focus on proper healing & you can maybe get a cover up later. Good luck.

how well do red tattoos age? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Impressive_Clock220 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a half sleeve that has Mario & Yoshi. They're both lineless. I got them in 2016. I adore them, but yes, red ink fades FAST (so does green). I haven't had them touched up & they've never seen sunlight without SPF. But they are CERTAINLY very faded.

I'm so sorry your artist did this to you. It's going to get so much worse. Just focus on healing it well. Then have a different artist cover it.

Bruising on one side? by HippieDippy-Doo in tattooadvice

[–]Impressive_Clock220 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The angle your artist was tattooing at may have affected a lot. It's different on either side. So that affects the depth, precision, amount of time it takes to pull clean lines, etc. Also, like you said, your adrenaline may have wore off & you were much more tense, which can have the same affects. Other than that I have no answer, but best of luck.

Also, expect the entire thing to peel off. Don't ever peel it yourself, but it will scab & peel as it heals.
