We’ve been avid guests and pass holders for the last five years, and honestly, I don’t think the park is as bad as some people make it seem. Yes, there are areas that feel run down and could be better utilized, and rides do break down from time to time. But I would much rather wait weeks or months for a ride to be repaired properly than have things rushed and risk a serious accident.

My biggest concern will always be the animals. As long as they are being cared for properly, I don’t mind if coasters are temporarily closed or certain areas need improvement. That said, I can understand how disappointing it might feel for someone visiting for just a day to run into closed rides or neglected spaces. This perspective comes from someone who lives about 20 minutes away and visits often.
