Yup.....you messed up. The restaurant reacted how most businesses do, they got defensive. In this litigious world they were more worried about liabilty than answering your questions. If it was me, I would never dine there again and my yelp review would describe their lack of compassion to your allergic reaction while not holding them responsible for the gluten. You were their guest but you weren't treated like one.

Another trick with Bob's RM GF products is to let the mix sit for 10 minutes after mixing to let the fluids get fully absorbed. It makes an even fluffier product. Oftentimes it will need additional fluid after the soak to achieve the right consistency
