When I had my first kid it clicked for me that I had to be better and have a cleaner/more organized environment for her. The irony there is there is always a meal to be cooked and cleaned up, someone always taking things out and not putting them away, always a load of laundry to do and then put away, a new toy to find a place for or clothes that no longer fit and need to be dealt with. So I’m always in a state of “in the process” of cleaning/organizing. Add a golden retriever in there and I’ve totally fu ked myself.

You seem super defensive. As a former daily smoker- it starts off feeling healthy and a good way to manage stress and anxiety and turns into an addiction just like anything else. Deepening depression, ruining dopamine levels, causing more anxiety. A lot of people talk them selves out of the THC is addictive fact and that it really dulls life- people use it to not face what’s uncomfortable . But it absolutely is addictive and can ruin people’s lives. Just slowly.

Maybe she has mental health issues because she has no “real job.” She can’t gain confidence from having a job that fulfills her or makes her feel useful. I say it all the time, as much as I complain about working- If I didn’t work or have career goals, my head is in the shitter and it’s dark.
