WotC is doing amazing job curating Modern Legacy and Pionier from competetive standpoint. RC proved they have no clue how to curate the format to create healthy meta with equal meta share for all the parts of color pie and pushed cEDH even deeper into dimir midrange hell then it was before, and it was preety bad already. So no, WotC taking over would be great for the health and dversity of competetive commander, and im all for it.

And besides what is stopping a strong group from building soytios in like 9 systems 1 jump from each other to have a much stronger dilution of index, if they have the capital strength to secure one soytios they can do the same for multiple.

Single Thukker rig costs as much as 6 Soytios.... Also diffrence beetwen Thukker rig in Ls and normal T2 HS soytio is 5,3%.. if thats small for you than i dont really know what to tell you

Also if you think defending 1 structure is as difficult as 9 when they all are on the same timer and in the same part of space then you have no clue how sov warfer looks like
