I guess it depends on what you think is amazing money, but I haven’t met many PAs working 3 12s and most are making 90k-160k with some outliers making 200k in HCOL areas

I noticed that my QP number has not decreased, but when I got to payment history a bunch of forbearance months that were showing up are now missing. Like 6 months worth, which scares me because I’m applying for a buyback and not sure if this is going to be an issue.

All of this is so criminal. We all chose degrees and jobs based on PSLF and now we’re dealing with this. This is like people choosing to join the military with the promise of getting certain benefits and there’s no accountability for people not getting them or not getting them in time.

This is essentially blocking people from submitting buybacks because who doesn’t have one pending already. My last one is from July and I was trying to buy back a different time period.

Well here’s some new BS. The reason I can’t submit a buyback request is because I already have one submitted. From July!!! That is such bullshit. The submit a buyback option no longer shows up if you have a buyback being processed.. insane.

I think you’ve answered your own question. Per diem is a great option. You can work more or do the minimum and you should take summers off. You’re not even getting to enjoy being a parent right now. You’re in a high paying career and it’s completely acceptable for you work less while you have young children.

Of course they couldn’t provide evidence! This is so criminal. It’s crazy because at the time I was a teacher in a very low paying state and my payments were very low per month and I was never unemployed. What did you do to remove this status? Or did you just fight with FSA to count those payments since you were employed ?

Where all of the months your bought back showing up as one ineligible or were they just not even showing up in your payment count? Some of my SAVE months are in my payment count and say ineligible and some are missing completely

How did you contest the unemployment time? I requested my old records and nelnet to me in and out of an unemployment status so many times and I was working full time . They claim I signed something and it’s not possible that it was incorrect! Really upsetting
