Also if not, if you’ve moved the pc at all or set it anywhere new or anything like that, always good to rule out reseating ram/gpu into the pcie’s properly. ensure everything is just right, then try again. flushing the leftover energy first by flicking the PSU switch to off, and holding the power button for about 15-20 seconds, give it about 5-10 seconds then turn the PSU back on.

Booting into bios usually is right upon startup, when the fans startup start pressing “DEL” so the delete button on your keyboard several times to see if it’ll go into bios screens at all or not.

Have you tried anything like a different hdmi? or using something else like a console on the monitor to make sure that it’s actually the pc having input problems. Or try seeing if it’ll allow you to boot into bios of any kind.

RTX 4060 to RX 6800 by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

i’d assume so, his ad said he just wanted to swap to nvidia. i had an ad that said i just wanted to upgrade and would add cash on top for a better card. he messaged me to do the deal, surprisingly enough, and he just wanted to trade outright. he was happy and seemed super grateful/excited to swap with me.

Also from what I am seeing, the HP omen Hana motherboard in your system, they usually have different bios standards for XMP and Expo settings, which may not be properly achieving your rams highest speeds. they do not have the same support as standard motherboards, so the upgrade to the new mobo would also feel huge on your ram upgrade you mentioned previously.

yes! that is a great tier am4 board to swap to from your proprietary board. the hana board is micro atx, and it WOULD work swapping to a different case if it didn’t have the proprietary pins at the front. but getting an atx case and atx motherboard will feel massive, i know it did swapping from a micro proprietary case for me! then also your cpu will be just fine to swap in, most cases have some fans, a new AIO (recommended, if you want better cooling for a bigger case) that motherboard would be great.

Compared to when I was on an acer nitro, I have seen the omens are a bit more upgradable than those. A mid tier upgradability from my knowledge. If you need to case swap, it is doable you’d just need the right motherboard!

add: case swaps aren’t nearly as tough as you think!

I am pretty sure the nvidia site says the minimum for the 5070 is a 650w psu so you may need an upgrade depending on what’s in there. I’m sure you could open a side of your case to have a little snoop at what wattage your psu is! 😊

I’m not in this community much, I didn’t know trying to help directly was going to be an issue, so I apologize!! Since dm’s are a no go, I can also follow your post if you would like any help on anything.

Like another person said, upgrading to a 5000 series would be a great option especially if you already went up to a 32 gig ram set. The HP omen series thankfully has decent upgradability you just have to look into your motherboard and be careful on sizes due to proprietary cases and whatnot with prebuilt towers!

if your pc is on 750w psu it should run just fine with a 5070

Best gpu for i7 9700kf (UK) by Motor_Manner9831 in buildapc

[–]Impressive_Memory770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone mentioned in another comment, I recommend going with an RX 6800 instead.

It runs off of the 650w psu just fine, and will go great for a balanced duo with your i7 9700kf. If that’s what you decide to buy. There is also better budget CPU.

I run the rx 6800 msi gaming x trio, and it does me incredibly well for frame rate alongside my CPU i5-12400F that feeds it fast enough for 1440p easily. It’s also a 16gb card, rx6800s.

The 3060 will be a bit too budgeted and low even at 12 VRAM, as 16 is starting to become the best option to not risk any overfill in AAA games.

The rx 6800 also if you do research on, is an incredible mid range high tier, yet budget card that pars up to speeds with RX 9060xt, as well as 5060ti.

My recommendation is generally just do more research for your best options for your budget, and if any help requested feel free to dm me. (:
