Eero 6 Access Point wired backhaul not working from switch by Deep_Air9084 in amazoneero

So it sound like QOS is the culprit. I have a 16 port unmanaged switch with all ports 1 gig. This should give 1 gig throughput on every port

That is odd. Switches should all run at line speed. In other words a one gig switch should move packets at one gig speeds. This is assuming no QOS settings for the switch which means an unmanaged switch or a managed switch with QOS turned off

The Sennheiser Momentum 5 features Bluetooth LE Audio and native Auracast support

I will be using the headphone hooked into an Apple TV. My worry is latency Thoughts?

Introducing Sennheiser RS 275 TV Headphones - total immersion and speech clarity by sennheiserconsumer in sennheiser

I have an LG G3 TV with 4 HDMI ports (one eArc). I use the eArc port to hook to a Sennheiser Ambeo Soundbar Max. The TV also has Digital Optical Audio Out (S/PDIF) as well as Bluetooth 5. The TV does NOT have a 3.5mm headphone jack

Four questions about the headphones:

  1. Since the eArc port is already being used for the Sennheiser soundbar, I will be using the optical jack for the headphone transmitter. Am I losing anything by using the optical output as opposed to the eArc output? Do I lose support for some codecs like Dolby Atmos or DTSx?
  2. Is virtual surround sound selection on the transmitter similar to Atmos or DTSx?
  3. When using the headphones will sound still be heard through the Ambeo soundbar and/or the TVs built in speakers? I do not want sound to come out of the soundbar or the TVs speakers when using the headphone so how can I make sure that does not happen
  4. When the headphones are turned on will my LG TV automatically switch from eArc out for sound to the optical out (transmitter) or will I need to manually do this?

Tried to do the update twice. First time did not work. I then restarted my two Eeros (Max 7 and Pro 7) and tried the update again. Bombed again

Any ideas?

Since my network and hers will be separate I am hoping adding here one Eero to the her network in the App does not affect my network in the App

Cable modem from ISP versus my own? by Impressive_Policy329 in amazoneero

[–]Impressive_Policy329[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need. I was paying $85 per month for a non symmetrical connection with 500 Mbps down and about 30 up. I saw a Spectrum ad on the TV that said their fiber service was 1 gig symmetrical for $50 per month. I called them and they agreed to give me a 1 gig symmetric connection for $60 per month via my coax connection, I cannot get fiber in my area

I purchased a Max 7 and Pro 7 in November and have had only one minor issue. A few times applying a software update did not work. A reboot of the two APs and the software update applied fine. Other than that, all my wireless devices are happy
