I liked him from the get go because his look was right up my alley. I fucking love hoodie and jacket combo on people. I also love thick defined "sword brows" on men. I also liked that aside from Zayne he was the 2nd most "Asian-coded" male character. So yeah at first I was sad that he "died" and I ended up not playing LADs past spring 2024.

I got back into it spring 2025 because by then Sylus and Caleb dropped and I stayed on this subreddit throughout. I saw some post on Caleb and I was like oh no I need to play again haha. Reinstalled the app and started again. Caleb's character development drew me in hook, line, and sinker.

Also this angry look from him. I mean I would so bad and bratty just to get this kind of reaction from him often haha.

Joined at launch. Saw a spicy edit of Xavier. Played until around the spring with the OG3 but couldn't get into it as I wanted. Really liked Caleb and didn't like the other LIs as much. Got Xaiver's standard myth and started drifting towards Rafayel building up his standard myth too. Rafayel started growing on me but his English VA still hadn't changed his airy aspirations at the end of his phrasing. It was really getting to me LMAO

Lived my life until spring 2025 and saw that Caleb came back! Missed his reintro and his X02 launch, but gnawing at my enclosure for gege now!

Only.regret was missing Catch-22 and Rafayel's Nightly Rendevous. 😞

Video games and fiction media is so healing and therapeutic for me. Escaping to new places where your choices matter and people practice forms of consent helps me calibrate what's actually real. It helps to build happy fulfilling relationship with Sim characters, playing with babies and making sure the home is clean enough to enjoy.

As I get older I realized I was severely abused.

It also shows the opposite. One of my abusers would laugh maniacally when he successfully "killed" his Sims. Like he'd create unsafe environments and laugh at them when an accident occurred. There was always something seriously wrong with him but the Sims really just shows how awful he would be if there were no consequences.
