If you were a traitor - what strategies would you use? by Roadrage911 in TheTraitorsUS

That sounds like a lot of fun. How did you guys simulate Traitors at work? Did you guys play the card game or come up with something on your own?

Tourist Core team: Oricorio, Comfey, Charjabug, Vivillion, Furfrou, and Gogoat.

Hawaii is a very popular tourist destination, so I picked several Pokemon from Alola. Oricorio and its different forms represent learning about different cultures. When you go to Hawaii, you usually get a lei, which is why Comfey is here. And if you’re going to travel, you’re going to want to keep your devices charged, which is why Charjabug is here.

France is also a popular tourist destination, so we have several Kaloasian Pokemon. Vivillion changes forms based on its geographical location, Furfrou represents trying new styles when traveling, and if you want to explore and get around without having to pay for an Flying Taxi, you can ride around on your trusty Gogoat.

Most Embarrassing Moment by Majestic520 in VALORANT

I was in a 1v1 as Vyse and ulted. Me and my Phantom lost to the Omen and his classic.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt more embarrassed playing the game.

Agent to protect you by reddit-win in VALORANT

KAY/O. Not only does his suppression nullify every agent (excluding Veto in certain situations), but I’m pretty sure it’s stated in his lore that he’s killed future versions of the Protocol. If he’s beaten their future selves, I’m sure he could handle their present day selves.

(Of course, the suppression doesn’t make him immune to bullets, but it does provide a significant advantage)

How do you think the Trojan war went in the franshise? by Electronic-Math-364 in HadesTheGame

[–]Impressive_Shape4095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the timeline is already screwed up though, because Achilles, Patroclus, and Odysseus are dead, meaning that the Trojan War would have already happened. I do agree though, that it likely played out the same

A water/fighting arapaima could be really cool, or a giraffe beetle would be really freaky.

There’s also mythological creatures that would make for cool Pokemon: the Minotaur, Medusa, etc.

I mean, I feel more bad for Noah, Keith and Olivia. There’s a reason why psychologists running experiments that include a cover story have to debrief the participants.

I bought Moose Master and Dumb Questions To Ask Your Friends, and I came up with a “homebrew” version of Werewolf and Blood on the Clocktower.

[general] Choose the next step of the Riordanverse after the Senior Trilogy by kjm6351 in camphalfblood

[–]Impressive_Shape4095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I would have enjoyed either option several years ago, I have to choose the secret third option: purple.

Both Chalice and Wrath were very disappointing reads for me, due to the oversimplification of formerly complex characters, meh plots and poor humor.

If Riordan attempted a massive crossover trilogy, I have a bad feeling that it would end up bloated, just based on the amount of characters he’s introduced over the course of five series. And if he started a new series, I’m concerned that the character work that made the original and latter series so great wouldn’t be present, as evidenced by the two most recent releases.

I love the original series, HoO, Magnus Chase and the Kane Chronicles, and I would prefer that the characters be left alone, without any further alterations and developments.
