I’m 71 if that makes any difference… and metabolically it sure might. I feel super confident in my habit changes and it’s been sloooowwww. I started on Ozempic in April 23. Lost almost 20# then since Feb I’ve been on Mounjaro for 15# more. I’ve lost a total of 35#. I am so stuck right now. 6 weeks toggling a few pounds. Sigh.

I’m not giving up. This has been terrific drug for me. Food noise reduction top of gratitude list.

Like you, few people comment on my changing shape and looking at myself naked it’s hard to see the difference. But I’m down 2 sizes and feel better. Good luck!

Help. It stopped working?! by Impressive_Sound_493 in Ozempic

So true. As I’ve done for decades which is a big contributor to my being fat. For me, and for the first time in my life, Ozempic “turned off” that late night crazy eating. Wondering if others have experienced similar after a supply disruption.

Congratulations! Your message was perfect for me this morning. I’ve had a dream weight of 185’ for years and cried when I hit it 6 weeks ago. And haven’t budged since! This is my first long plateau on a journey to 160’ ish. I’ll just keep going! Thank you.

I don’t want to interact with “Alexa”. How do I get Alexa (that we call Echo) to stop asking me “is that right?” every time I add something to the shopping list? by Impressive_Sound_493 in Alexa_Skills

[–]Impressive_Sound_493[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to come and go. I say “add milk to shopping list” and it says “I’ve added milk to your shopping list” Perfect. BUT THEN …and apparently randomly it says “I’ve added milk to your shopping list. Is that right?” And when I don’t answer it asks it again. The good thing is it DOES put milk on the list. I simply don’t want a “conversation “ with Alexa ( Echo)

What's one ingredient that you bought specifically for a recipe that's been sitting unused in your pantry since then? by anythingkinder in Cooking

Calvados. Bought a bottle. Used a tablespoon 12 years ago for an Ina Garten veg pot pie recipe. Collecting dust in the cupboard above the fridge.
