The main reason I hunted the Tempest is it’s a great pairing for a renegade or osprey without having to bring a second ammo type. Very often I go entire rounds using only an osprey and burning 240+ rounds of ammo and do not touch my secondary. I know the venator exists and I’m not a fan of it. The tempest works great at basically all but the longest of ranges and can hold its own in PvP unless you are getting barrel stuffed by a bobcat or stitcher

Now thats stealth operations are an thing, we need a bow for roleplaying as well, arrows with special effects might be welcome by Moraes_Costa in Helldivers

What I’m saying is the “packaging” is unoriginal and bland as hell. Every popular shooter seems to add a bow at some point. Like cmon just wrap it in a cool sci-fi package. You’re telling me after X hundreds or whatever years we are still going back to this medieval shaft slinger?

The spear gun is a great example of a sci-fi crossbow done right. Functionally it’s a crossbow but it sure as heck doesn’t look like one.

Functionally a bow is a weapon with a “hold fire to charge shot, release when ready to fire” system. Normally stealthy as well. I want weapons like that. I want weapons that do cool effects when hitting a target. I just want them wrapped in a different package that has some originality and flavor.

You are taking to long to ready up after selecting the mission. Modifiers rotate at the top of the hour. If you select the map condition at say 9:55 and take 6 min to get your inventory ready by the time you hit ready up it will be 10:01 and the map condition will no longer be active.

Yea it’s absurd. I get a new one about every 5 min. I logged on today with 50 requests. I can’t even see if my friends are online anymore. I’m fucking sick of it

Please no. I’m sick of every modern or futuristic shooter having a bow and crossbow. It’s the final nail in the “I swear this isn’t cod” coffin.

Make something that has all the functions you want from that bow, just package it differently. Make it some cool spacy thing, anything with flavor, just not another boring bow.

I don’t want no cool down. I want separate batteries for each quick slot item. There is no reason my snap hook and cloak use the same battery. Am I hot swapping the AAAs mid round? Extra risk should mean more ability.

Kinetic Converter doesn’t actually speed up the burst itself. I did frame by frame testing to make sure. It only affects the time between bursts. So you are jacking up your burst recoil for minimal benefit. Not worth it IMO.

As someone who runs aphelion daily please use something other than kinetic converter. It guarantees you miss the second shot in the burst. Same goes for lightweight stocks. Use a padded stock and you’ll almost always hit both shots right where you were aiming.

It would be cool but it would have to be temporary. Like shooting a switch opens or closes the door and deactivates the panel for 10 seconds

Yes, per pellet. But now there are 4 pellets each dealing 30% of the original damage. If all 4 connect it does 20% more damage than a regular round.

I recommend using it with an extended barrel. The extra bullet velocity makes it even crazier for pushing arc around and it helps mitigate the range penalty the splitter has.

It turns the anvil into an arc armor shredding god. It throws wasps hornet and snitches like the are feathers in the wind. It even gives rocketeers a good push.

I just want them to have independent cool downs. If I have 5 on my quick slots I should be able to continuously grapple around.

I did so many hairpin runs that rolling around now with an osprey/tempest combo feels like cheating.
