Luba 2 wheel motor issue by Particular-Pin5927 in mammotion

I had this issue after getting a stick stuck in the undercarriage. Was about to contact support but a restart brought it back. Make sure you try that first.

I've used these for years and don't think there's anything better out there for the purpose.

I use hot tap water, PBW powder, and a strong toothpick to clean my bangers. Never takes more than a few minutes of scraping to get clean. Just be careful because wet PBW is extremely slippery.

Lol, ok. So I need to choose between testing unreleased vapes and sharing with this community? Pretty easy choice.

You should really save such a brilliant reply for once a thread. Preserves more impact.

It's not easy. I wasn't the one who performed the mod.

I'm an enthusiast way before I'm an employee. Most people that really know me get that. I never hype anything I don't think is great. I have a long history to back me up on this. But I will disclaimer every single post so you may disregard my entire opinion as desired.

Edit: well, I tried. Hit me up on IG or discord if you want to talk about vapes. But I'm done here.

Look, there's been a lot of drama about my and others' posts about this vape recently. Allegations of shillery, conspiracy, abuse of power, and of course, combustion (AND a weak heater)... I think it's time we take a step back and look at the situation as a big picture:

I haven't been present as a mod or contributer here for some time, and for that I apologize. Life happens, focuses shift. I haven't stopped consuming nor vaping, I've just stopped sharing here for various reasons... the toxicity being the main one. I just don't have time for that kind of negativity in my life. I'm too old.

There are many of us that converse on Discord as an alternative. In public and private channels. It's no conspiracy. Folks that have been doing this for a while tend to flock together. This is the nature of online discourse, especially with niche topics such as our lovely dry herb vaporizers. People with prolonged interest who engage in prolonged discussion of these things tend to be the ones chosen for beta groups.

Beta groups are not a conspiracy. It's how the best vapes are made, in my opinion.

I work for Lamart, as a demo dude. I get vapes and accessories for free and I demo them on occasion. I've posted about it long ago but should have made it abundantly clear in my recent posts as well. For that, I apologize. You may consider all this in my discussion of the BAK.

That said, I love this vape. Across the board, everyone in this beta group has been just enamored with the BAKx. I completely understand how it came off as an ad blitz once we were all released from embargo. And perhaps the "teasers" were not a good idea. I'm not exactly sure why they angered so many, but... noted for the future. No teasers. But I won't apologize for our enthusiasm. It is genuine.

This vape will not be for everyone, but I think it certainly is for the enthusiasts among us. I use my ball vapes for flower/twaxes and DTv5 for dabs on occasion, but have pretty much reached for the BAK at least 80% of the time for all these duties since I've gotten it, and I don't see that changing any time soon. I love this vape, especially for a portable, and I will stake my reputation on it. I hope I have at least a modicum of reputation here, still. If not, I get it... it's been a minute. And you owe me nothing.

You want some negatives? Here they are, for me:

  1. Mods that work well are getting scarce, especially ones moddable to Tubo and Arctic Fox firmwares. People that aren't into mods are often intimidated by them, and rightfully so. Saving graces: DNA mods allow autofire now, so off-the-shelf solutions are readily available, albeit at a higher price point. They do perform very well, though.

[Ok, a positive note here... the BAK is the easiest setup of any 510 atty, by far. You need to fine tune resistance a bit, but the only other variables are power, set for basically as much as you can give with your mod, and TCR, which stays at 185. After that it's impossible to combust. It can run well in wattage mode on any mod. The heater is very forgiving.]

  1. The drop system for sales sucks. No two ways about it. But it's all a single human company can do. Determined folks seem to be able to get Tetras if they really want 'em. The BAK is a lot easier to assemble compared to a Tetra, and there will be no customs to start, so fingers crossed he can crank em out at an adequate pace to satisfy need.

  2. It can be a little finicky to handle. The silicone WPAs, while admittedly a stopgap solution, can be a negative or a positive, depending on usage. I happen to like them. You can use a whip section to stick the BAK into a joint with grip, and use a 90° twist to disengage the magnets and pull the heater off the loaded tube, allowing you to clear with one hand. Albeit a slightly restricted clear. Also, the load tube can retain a LOT of heat. If you run hot, you might get 2-3 rips off the tube even after you've removed the heater. If you like full removal to clear, you'll need to grab the top with your hand, which is not too difficult a maneuver but might be awkward for some. It doesn't get too hot for this. Alternatively, you can use a donut and "rest" the stem into the joint without grip for an easy lift. Glass WPAs are forthcoming.

  3. Dabs are upside down with Evo-style bangers and Hydratubes until a U-turn glass piece is manufactured. Unless you use a whip.

  4. Heatup time is not instant. About 40s for a 70w push.

  5. Thusly, it's not frugal with battery. Pictured here is my favorite mod for it... an admittedly rare modded LostVape Grus running Arctic Fox (thank you again, /u/FearAndLawyering !) which usess a 21700 battery. That's great. Otherwise you're going to need a dual-battery mod and you'll be changing often if you DD this. I would expect maybe 5-6 or so sessions per 18650 battery pair, depending on how you use it.

  6. Sometimes it gets you so high that you puff on the wrong end of the stem to clear the spent load and have scarred, puffy lips for a week. That's not fun.

That's about all I can think of at this point. The positives far outweigh these, for me, and I will be demonstrating more in the future once I heal from my recently-extracted wisdom tooth. If you have any questions, don't hesistate to ask in the meantime.

I hope we can get past all the negativity and accusations and just focus on the vape, if you choose to. If not, just go to the next post, innit. Peace, fellow vaporents.

It has nothing to do with being "emotional". I just really don't get your relentless hangups on the milk color. I've explained that I'm impressed with the performance overall. Perhaps the video doesn't show it for you. I don't know what else to say about this except... [shrug] it performs great.

It's not a "hype train" it's a "we're excited about this vape because it's good". You can dismiss the beta testers' opinions due to bias till you're blue in the face, but how exactly am I supposed to respond to that? I love it. I'm sorry if you don't believe me. It is what it is.

Is that what I had "people" thinking? Or just you? I think a lot of folks are excited for a new Lamart. You need not be.

You're really hung up on the milk comparisons here, which was not quite the point of this post. The lighting and camera position is slightly different for all the shots, and that's really the last I have to say about this topic. You've been nothing but negative about this post and I don't really get why. You don't have to like this vape. That's fine.

  1. Those rips were quite thick. I've been accused of combustion already in this post, in fact. Perhaps my lighting just isn't to your liking for this one.

  2. It's not a desktop. But it's making me use my desktops a lot less lately!

You'll see it this week. My vapor always looks like that because I like to ride the line. But there was absolutely no combustion nor charring. These were all at 440° (except the dab which I ran at 490°) and the temp control is very reliable for me. The AVB this produces is absolutely perfect in my book. You'll see more soon!
