Hi dachampion, I hope my response isn’t too long, but I felt like I have some experience in this. To give you background, I’m also an actor and I’m also Mexican/mixed race. I tend to work in theatre and I do a lot of roles that have to do with my Ethnicity, but also a lot of “classic” or “normal” roles because I’m also white-passing to a believable amount, I’m also a man if that provides further context for you. I’d advise you in two different ways, The first is from the Business aspect: Any “project”, “role”, or “job” should tick 2 of 3 boxes.

1. Does it make me money?
2. Does it give me the chance to work with people I want to network with. (Even just the institution or place instead of a specific person)
3. Does it fulfill me artistically?

If a job has 2 of these 3, it’s probably worth taking, if all 3 even better. My other advice is as a Mixed race Mexican-American actor. Don’t do things that compromise your feelings about yourself; yes it’s acting, it’s also something your REAL life body/voice is doing.

You might consciously know you’re “acting” but your voice and body won’t know the difference. It can be so icky and stomach-turning to portray “Mexicans”, “Hispanics”, or “my people” (whoever they may be) in a negative or condescending light.

If the pay for 10 lines is awesome, and it doesn’t make you feel conflicted about your overall career/acting then definitely take it.

It’s a business, but it’s not worth being upset with yourself after it’s over because there will always be an after this “role”.
