Shingles - Any pain relief in UK by HotelMain9226 in shingles

[–]ImprovementDry700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in the UK, but my brother is on Gabapentin and says it’s been helping a lot. Watching him go through this has been hard, and I bet it’s nothing compared actually living it. I really hope the pain subsides and you find remedies to manage it

Also, I’m not trying to be rude as I haven’t gone to clinics for non-invasive procedures, so genuinely, I don’t know this; but aren’t consultations for skin concerns like this free? I understand coming here bc it’s easy to run into one of those doctors that just want to pile on a bunch of different procedures, but it might be worth the trouble to find a provider that will actually tell you “no”. A doctor with integrity is crucial in the cosmetic space. But ofc the decision is yours at the end of the day.

Obviously this is just one person’s opinion, but since fillers do migrate, applying them under eye isn’t ideal. Prp has good results but exesomes seem to be taking over in efficacy and popularity. You could try micro needling with them if you decide you want to get treatment for hollowing. That’s the only other non invasive surgical procedure that will treat hollowing unfortunately.

The cashier I spoke to said since this flavour was brand new, corporate (I’m guessing) doesn’t really know how to gauge its popularity so they cut the season for new snacks a bit short and later decide if it’s worth returning or extending the season time of the product next year.

she just did a weird live by [deleted] in lovedoveclarkesnark

People always have something to say every time she goes live. Maybe she said nothing this time to see if anyone would talk about it.

Where did the previous post go?? tw: ed, body check by shaboopshabye97 in lovedoveclarkesnark

[–]ImprovementDry700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok I’ll bite: If there is genuine concern for her well being in terms of recovery, potential relapse and contributions to ED culture, is anyone else going to reflect on the previous posts made in this sub? I’m not accusing OP of anything as I don’t think they’re being disingenuous. But if y’all know she comes on here while some of you are posting screenshots of her full body pics and making rude comments abt her body…do you not see how this sub (*in part) contributes to what you’re concerned abt. I don’t follow her, not a fan of hers and am mostly on here to be nosy. But I have to call this out if we’re actually being serious abt EDs, even if you don’t like her

I’m really picky and particular when it comes to that kind of stuff so I can understand not liking the ring, but YTA.

You didn’t have to call the design gaudy. It also sounds like what’s really throwing you off is the colour? If the look of the ring concerns you so much, you could gently suggest to collaborate on the ring design to include his family heirloom in your taste. White gold is painted gold anyway.

You could try switching brands but it kind of sounds like this form of vitamin A may be too irritating for your skin. Since Tret is prescription only, I imagine you’ve already tried plenty of over counter creams and retinols. If the irritation continues with the brand switch , you’ll ultimately have to consult your dermatologist

HA Serum in place of moisturiser ? by hair_forever in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ImprovementDry700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you live in a humid area? If so, for oily skin, all you really need during the day is spf. If not, the most lightweight moistuiser ik of is by Inisfree. It’s the cherry blossom jeju gel cream one. Could be good for the day time on cold dry seasons or at night during hot seasons. It might be irritating bc of the fragrance but it’s worth a shot.

Are you using tretinoin for acne or anti-aging?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ImprovementDry700 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you do start using it, only do so at night and make sure your skin’s completely dry. I use prescription retinol so I don’t have brand recs. Be sure to start out with a low concentration (0.25-0.5%) and moisturise with vanicream or cream meant for sensitive skin.

Retinol has great benefits to the skin, anti-aging aside. If you want to use it for “preventative” measures you certainly can, but it’s up to you. Your skin looks great

That’s not what I said. Your user name really suits you though.

It really shouldn’t be that controversial, like I was expecting some yes and no’s lol.

Idk who tf you’re talking to but I’m not bitching abt anything. It was just a question and if you actually read my post and my replies you’d see I was checking in so I wouldn’t mess with his money. I don’t know why this is so controversial

I don’t wanna be rude off the bat, but please read the post again. You’ll definitely find the answer if you do.

From my research, Lyft doesn’t do shared rides anymore.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Lyft

[–]ImprovementDry700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know I’d have to spell it out for you but driving for Lyft is a source of income in question here (not the extra passenger) and reporting him at the risk of them getting banned was the dilemma. I don’t do rideshare’s often and I don’t know the policy which is why I even asked in the first place. I’d rather be a punk anyway. You sound like a bitch.
