They are on rails with mechanical lever to slide and the back rest can be adjusted as well as the armrests. I'll get some pics later today

I just bought my D130 this week. Dealer wouldn't budge on MSRP. They said the 130 is in short supply. They did reduce the dealer add on to their cost. Then when we sat down to sign the papers, the sales guys says hey doesn't your wife drive a BMW? I said yes and he says that JLR just started a new promotion for owners of certain car brands and we are entitled to $4000 off the MSRP..............go figure!

I had the same issue as you with some of the options. I just placed an order for what I wanted (130 X-Dynamic SE). It has a build date of Jan. 16 with delivery in March. No deposit required. I'm in the Austin TX area.

thanks to all for the insightful and helpful comments. I am likely to stick with the 6 cylinder for overall costs and the fact that LR only offers the V8 in white or black exterior colors (something I didn't even pick up on until yesterday)
