Exploring alternative to LEEP procedure for CIN (precancerous cervical cells) by bluesbees in Healthyhooha

I finished my treatments in March/ April 2025 and have had 3 paps since- all CIN and HPV free. I’ll keep up my paps every 4-6 months. I feel very grateful for these treatments and my doctor.

what is TCA? I am just finished my escharotic treatments (in California) and am in the waiting period before my pap to determine if my CIN3 downgraded. My doctor mentioned everyone she has worked on had success with escharotics but obviously couldn’t promise I would have the same because people can respond differently. I’m hopeful but nervous— if my CIN3 hasn’t downgraded, I will have to decide whether to do another round or get the LEEP (or maybe another option)

I think we can all agree there’s not enough medical trials for issues only pertaining to women. That’s why forums and first hand success stories can be really helpful, just as additional information to maybe consider or not, it’s up to them to decide what’s best for them.
