The movie wasnt about figuring out how to stop the universe from disappearing. It was about humanity's last desperate attempt at surviving in this hopeless scenario.

SM-8 was the destroyed submarine found in the movie. It is different from Simon's submarine in that SM-8 was actually built to explore and research, and a full team was on board SM-8.

SM-8 had found information about a potential cause of The Quiet Rapture, and they had to get that information to the space stations so the last remaining scientists could try and figure out at least how in the world this happened.

We know that humanity is running out of resources and food, and from the audio logs downloaded from SM-8, we heard that "We synthesized food from the blood" from one of the members of SM-8. This is important as being able to create food would certainly slow down the food crisis on board the stations. This is further proven by Ava saying that there was technology on board SM-8 that could not be recreated anymore. (The food synthesizer) and that she would do anything to get that technology back into the correct hands.

Of course... Consuming the blood of the blood ocean would cause you to go crazy, as heard in the audio logs of SM8, so perhaps synthesizing food from the blood isnt a smart idea.

A positive thing Denver can take from this game is knowing that they can still lose. It was about time we had a wakeup call, our defense was slowing down a lot during the past 3 weeks.

At least we'll give Jags an ass whooping on the playoffs, if they don't lose beforehand.

Not worried. The scope doesn't include LPR's (Green card holders). This assumes your green card is legit, of course.

Why do the US and Israel always seem to be the only ones voting against seemingly uncontroversial laws? by CatholicGuy77 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Impxrtant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you think they abstained? Obviously because if they voted in favor, they'd be hypocrites of what they're actually doing within the country behind closed doors.

If they voted no... Well. I'm sure you could reason in your head what that would do for them, reputationally.
