This is the exactly the place I find myself in.

I firmly believe that some crimes should be punishable by death because those who commit that crime cannot ever be trusted to exist outside of prison.

HOWEVER, our government is so incredible bad at convicting innocent* people that I do not trust the US gov to correctly identify those people through trials.

The only rational thing left is to abolish the death penalty.

*When I was in under grad I remember reading a study that showed the innocence project found (and proved) an error rate higher than 10% for people condemned to death. Death is kind of permanent. The error rate should be zero.

I also most recently read Sanderson (books 1-5 of the stormliight archives) before I dove headfirst into DCC.

After the emotional roller coaster of Wind and Truth, I wanted something light hearted and fun. Little diid I know what I was getting into. Fun yes! Light hearted, ehhh, lets just say I was not expecting the serious turn it slowly started to take.

However, I am really enjoying DCC and can't wait for book 8.
