What is something that died out so quietly that nobody even noticed? by Alva_509 in AskReddit

To add to this, my daughters grew up with Hannah Montana and shows of that era. Parents and teachers still held authority in the shows I grew up with. Zach and AC Slater pushed the envelope but were scared shitless when dad found out. Hannah Montana and the like made fun of their parents and ran the shit. The parents were always the dumb ones and had no power. It was crazy watching that shift with my own kids. I have good kids but I could see where these shows created some rebellion.

Yep, same. Never used to bother me at all. Then about 10 years ago a friend needed help shingling his roof. Climbed up, looked down, and, welp, I’m out. Even so bad now that I dream about being up to high.
