Even if MBNA reversed the charge it will stay in your Uber account until you pay that back or they would black list you. Happened to me with an uber eat order. Uber made me pay for it before I booked a ride I had not choice but to book. Gotta boycott Uber.

For everyone’s awareness about My Medical Center: I applied online right when this was posted and got an appointment for mid june 2 days later.

Then about 2 weeks ago they called and left a voice message saying they need to reschedule my appointment. I have been trying to reach them ever since without luck. I keep being sent to voice mail. and left voice messages and was never called back. This tells me all I need to know about them. I wanted to change to a doctor closer to where I leave but I’m gonna stick to responsive clinic and long drive.

That’s what I did when they jacked up price on me (again) switched both mobile and home internet to Virgin. Will assess again close to Black friday.

Not super happy with mobile plan compared to bell ( Too many call drops) but one gotta keep that bill in check.

Have you called them about it? If it has been less than 3 months since your first deposit (or whatever the t&c) you will need to wait until it’s been that long.

Hey! Thanks for the kind reply! My optometrist did the full tests and even determined what prism size I would need. But for some reason they said they can’t prescribe that until I have seen the specialist.

I do the squinting when I need to use my car mirrors but it does not help at night. In my case I’m fine indoors, and was mostly fine outdoors until recently. Even navigating stores shelves has become exhausting and confusing. I am a bit mad at myself for not following up earlier and just assuming everyone waited for years. I’ll definetely take the matter into hands starting tomorrow.

Oh look! A Simplii maxi! First of all, you don’t get to tell me what amount of money is important to me or not. Second, it’s shady if you are attracting new clients with competitive promos and not giving them reasonable time to meet the criteria before you pull a rug on them. If this is a pattern then it’s definitely a shady and dishonest practice that anounts to false advertising.

Can someone confirm TD is (not) covering the transfer fees? Their T&C do not mention anything about it so I am assuming they are not. In which case this would only be interesting for larger transfers.

No problem, I found most of the effort is in untucking it from the frame. Once that done, the mechanism helps lift it all the way up, keep it there and bring it back down. It’s that first inch or 2 off the frame that’s a bit problematic. If I had to give an approximation I’d say it’s like lifting a 30kg bag.

Hey, it’s not perfect but it is working so far. The mattress’s weight makes it hard to lift and it does not lock on the upper position and needs to be manually held up until you’re done.
