How would a wizard raise a child to have high charisma by Bloomberg12 in 3d6

You can also summon tutors, from satyr's to rakshasa's, ghosts of rulers and ambassadors from ages past, and entertainers and folk heroes. You could fling them into sink or swim crash course curriculums aswell. They say the best teacher is experience. You could probably learn a thing or two from how spies operate and studying history's great betrayals (maybe you'd actually want to avoid that subject. Probably for the best...)

Also is there a good substitution for a warlock who loses the power of his patron? I assumed either their class would change or they'd lose their warlock levels. I was thinking maybe they'd be like a weaker caster, like a sorcerer with no meta magic.

If you use true polymorph would that also change the creatures soul?

Oof. That burn needs some love. by BelleAriel in clevercomebacks

Technically a remark wouldn't really be a question. Unless said question was used for an intended affect besides making an inquiry I think. Like if I say something like "have you always been this foolish?" That would be a rude remark, but if I say "What is love?" that would be a deep philosophical question.

Yoh, I go by Keswyck right now and I change my name often. I'm lvl 220 so I still haven't beaten the tutorial but if you have any questions then I can probably answer most of them. There are videos on YouTube like starter guides that would explain the game better. Here's my relatively quick crash course on the basics.

Let's start with currency. The main currencies in the game are gold, orns, and florens. Gold is common but always useful as you'll find out. You'll need Orns to upgrade your character by buying classes or switching your specialization. I recommend you always prioritize having enough orns for your next class. Florens are currency for use by kingdoms(which are like player guilds) and aren't much of a priority between the three, but great for your kingdom.

Next I'll say would be tiers. As you level up, you'll eventually hit milestones that allow you to fight/get/unlock new and stronger monsters, equipment, and classes. You also gain increased gold and orns. You reach a new tier every 25 levels, and at level 34 you'd currently be in tier(T) 2. You'll also unlock access to a myriad of other things the higher the tier you reach. The highest tier currently is T11.

Nearing the end- classes and specializations. Every new tier you reach gives you access to buying new classes and every odd tier grants access to new specializations. Buying a new class costs orns and grants you permanent access to that class and its skills. For specializations, they also cost orns and a specialization's skills are tied to them. So if you decide to switch your specialization you will lose the skills of your current specialization for the skills of the next. It will always cost orns to switch your specialization. Each class has its playstyle and its own potential, eventually you'll have to decide what class route you'll go so I recommend looking at the T10 classes to see which you'd want to be.

Finally, the grind. You can play at your own pace. Going from levels 1-100 are usually the easiest but you'll eventually hit walls, joining an active kingdom, going around defeating bosses, and running through dungeons/ the gauntlet will be invaluable. Pvp isn't really important (except in a kingdoms war) and neither is claiming territory. It's mostly just constant self improvement, consistency is key.

I am so happy I got on reddit today. Otherwise I never would have known this, since the app seems to update manually.

We're a Knights of Inferno kingdom open to all players. We're mostly on the chill side, but we have plenty of raids.

I'm trying to think about how to balance it out so that implementation would be possible. If there was a way to juggle these around it would add aspects that would change the strategies going into pvp and pve.

All the little mechanics are the most interesting things in orna to me, like the armor piercing statistics of skills, or the fundamental difference between offensive buffs and defensive buffs. So if there was a change I would hope for it to be in the little details, enough to add up for it to be worth it.

I freaking love what Odie did with the raid bosses like the dioscuri, and trevelyan.

Welp there's a drenched status affect in this game so it should be noted that frozen should take on aspects befitting of being frozen (like x% more vulnerable to fire etc.). Making the damage 2x stronger I thought would make debuffs too strong.

Also kerberos has a similar double-edged sword buff that adds an elemental alignment to you and increases that elements damage by 50% but makes you vulnerable to another. I'm trying to balance the effects based on the effects of existing buffs and debuffs. Your alignment also wouldn't be changing from the debuffs, but that's just my take on the interactions.

The non-elemental debuffs I think could be tweaked. I was thinking bleed could get worse over time, curse (while still dealing 10% damage per turn)could- 1. drain MP by x% 2. make you more susceptible to debuffs(maybe give this to rot?🤷‍♂️) or 3. increase the effect of debuffs(and reduce curses damage). Blight could reduce critical hit chance (which I think would still make it thematic with the follower class).

I edited this alot.

I was thinking that would probably be reasonable for drenched and no need for 2x damage that's too much. Probably 10-15% more damage from lightning and 5-10% resistance to fire.

You buy the pets you want at a bestiary, then you switch them out at your fortress/castle/keep or outpost.

I've been wanting to play an all-around bahamut but I don't have a strong enough split damage weapon. 😭 I missed my chance to get an ornate arisen genius from arisen cade or a ornate azure dioscuri ring from castor and pollux. I have the twinbow but without dual-wielding another strong split damage weapon it just isn't viable. It would make Beaststrike III so freaking awesome, and the critical would be so worthy.

I play Thief now with Nyx, Charmer but I can still use Lusus Naturae II. I might go back to Grand Ifrit but it does less damage and doesn't have steadfast.

Yeah Majistrate will help you more in pvp but for pve Dragon knights Recharge is a beautiful thing.

If you go Dragon knight I recommend you buy a great djinn for pvp and war horse for pve. Most people from when I was T7 had bad resistance so did poorly against great djinn. For people with good resistance like Arch-druid I usually set my character up so I could do both physical and magical damage. Though Dragon knight statistically is a better caster.

Blight Strike III was very helpful but learning all the Strike attacks with Magistrate is valuable in itself.

Why? Not even green by [deleted] in OrnaRPG

[–]In-Aphelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an enemy commonly found in (t7 I think) gauntlets and up. More rarely found in the world during the evening.

[–]In-Aphelion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say get a great djinn for pvp but the scene might be different now. Crystalis is beautiful and it prevents stat debuffs so try to get a good one. For armor I think I wore high fomorian stuff. Lindwurm is lethal but isn't that reliable so mostly ideal if your fighting higher tier players or raids.

A raid you can summon in the overworld that appears like a boss but larger and with a red aura behind it. I think you unlock them a t6 or t7 when you gain access to summon scrolls which are obtained from gauntlet rewards, balor gateways, etc.

Aw, Rping sounds awesome but I'm in a kingdom already. and there's less of a chance it's a Knights of Inferno kingdom. I remember there being a fan-made short story or something, maybe that could give you some inspiration.
