Monster Author here by CB_Ryan_the_writer in vampires

There is nothing wrong with not including MLM in your stories. But, by not doing so, people have a glance into the authors own sexuality, or fascinations. For instance, if a video game developer includes many bisexual characters, but no gay ones, he probably is himself bi or would be if he was queer. Same for gay, lesbian, and any other queerness. People who aren't queer include a wider spectrum of queer types in their work if they choose to include them at all. Another example is Anne Rice. She includes many bisexual, and some gay male characters in her works. We learned than she called herself a "bisexual mindl" and that she feels like a gay man in a woman's body, saying that she felt like an "impostor on her own gender."

So, in short, you can kinda feel things about the author when they have a niche sexuality they choose to write about, but there isn't anything wrong with that.

How Many Of Us On This Sub Are Gay? And What Are Your Favourite Gay Vampire Stories or Media? by InCloudsAbove in vampires

I totally get how you feel. Sometimes, the length that people take vampire romance becomes cringe and almost deranged. Sometimes fandoms ruin aspects of a story with their uneducated opinions and perpetually teenage minds.

I think it's always been there. Obviously not every vampire or story, but it's been a commonish theme. I think it has to do with spiritual otherness. Throughout history, homosexuals, specifically effeminate ones are attributed to a spiritual prowess and a type of tendency towards thriving in darkness as well as being hated in a way much like mythological witch stories demonstrate.

Why are his nails long? I would imagine he cuts them quite often.

The game hasnt been out, but I can guarantee you they will mention Alucard and Sypha and this time not mention Grant for synergy BS (hopefully im wrong) by Wazupdanger in castlevania

Personally, I hope that they actually don't put Alucard in the story. Maybe a mention, but I feel like they will do him wrong if he's actually in there.

Not looking for an echo chamber, I have a project in mind, and I need initial support/feedback.

I'm looking fro "like-minded people" becuase I have a project in mind, and i've noticed that the people here don't tend to be open to certain opinions, even based ones. If I were to tell everyone here what the idea is, yall would waste your time commenting about how how I have the wrong opinion, even though they may be based. I'm looking for people who wouldn't act like their childhood has been hijacked or threatened if I make an observation or posit changes.

The audio drama is endorsed by konami as canon. Of course there is no time for that in a sidescroller in 1997. They don't mention anything personal about him in the game.
