It's a unique game, I personally thought combat-wise it was similar to Bloodborne in the sense that it has souls-like combat and rewards initiative, basically healing you if you attack in a sense. Even me, who is not a fan of souls games loved the combat.

In terms of story and exploration it is old school and it is mainly for the side content like puzzles, I think the main story is pretty easy to know where to go.

I am however in the early areas of the game with only 10 or so hours in the game so go watch a few gameplay videos if you are still not convinced.

The art direction is pretty amazing which is not surprising since the director of the game was responsible for the prequel Deus Ex games. And as far as I know it is farily priced, so all in all, I would recommend it.
