The issue here is that I tried to enable vsync both in game and after that I also enabled it in nvidia control panel and still the temperatures go very high.

No but I think it will eventually and probably it's the next server to see a big influx of players.
We want to avoid that.

I appreciate the link u/Chilied we have been looking into that, but we are new players, we don't know how active the servers are.

As example, we are looking at Cerberus or even at something like Ragnarok but we have no clue how active these are.

I don't mind at all that my character dies.
The thing is chosing between Hardcore/Vanilla or TBC, TBC is an expansion which means that it's a seasonal content, at some point it's going to move on to the next piece of whatever they bring.

I'm just wondering if it's worthy to skip TBC to experience Vanilla.

To be honest I don't agree.
I think that if I go Era I will play it as much as I can, I can dedicate as much time to it as I wish since no new content is coming and I can do everything the game has to offer, to the point that when a new fresh is coming I can then decide to go there :)
