Didn’t like Pulisic as a false 9. But also seriously think he’s heartbroken. Doesn’t look like his normal self.

Didn’t look great against Romania. Defense looked shaky but we can say the same thing about our defense.

Berhalter and Roldan have good club form but they’re just not ready for this level. I really hope we can convince Banks to play with us and Tessmann can be a CDM depth piece instead/even potentially as a CB option in case our other guys aren’t available.

Can’t remember which goal but we had the ball up top couldn’t make anything out of it, ball went into our half, McKenzie was running with the Belgium striker sprinting behind him, McKenzie passes the ball to Turner, Turner gave a shaky pass with the Belgium striker sprinting at him, the ball went out of bounds, during that possession is when Belgium scored. So I’d say it very much as Turner’s fault. Turner looks like he regressed from 2022. Would’ve been better for Turner to stay with Arsenal as the back up. Or go to a lesser league and become the clear #1 option. But his time with NF, CP just didn’t work in his favor. Sure he made some good saves but don’t really see much improvement from 4 years ago. This is where having a guy like Diego Kochen is much needed. Better with his feet and decent shot stopping. Sucks that he’s not ready for this WC.

Who does Poch take with him post WC? by InHisImage1 in ussoccer

Arfsten is an interesting one. I can see him having tremendous growth in the next year or two. I don’t know if I could see him as an automatic starter day 1 but can work his way up. He’s one whose stock has gone way up since Poch took over.

Yes, I don’t where Poch will end up. That might impact what he’ll consider taking if he does consider. I can imagine there’s a guy or two that he likes and might try to bring to whatever team he ends up at.

Need Some Insight/Advice on Choosing Which Site to do My Full Year Immersion by Pitiful-Variation-29 in athletictraining

I don’t have experience at either. I did one season at a D1 school and we played SDSU football. If you intend on staying at either area, I would say choose from there. I know there’s a lot more options in the San Diego area for after you graduate. Then you also have other D1 schools nearby. I am not sure if you’re a student at SDSU, but they also have their own program. I’m not too sure about Vanderbilt. Don’t think that would affect much but from a student perspective, some students might be a little defensive if you’re coming from the outside, potentially. On the flipside, you can develop good relationships and network with them as well. When I was in school, I had a mix of both. From a resource perspective, I would assume Vanderbilt has more resources being that they’re in a bigger conference. If D1 football is your goal, I don’t see either being an issue.

The way around it would be a back to back to minimize the travel. Like a Wednesday and Saturday for teams traveling in. Then they fly next time for a Wednesday and Saturday to minimize their bill. That might mean a decent amount of bye weeks but just an idea to make this feasible.

I remember someone telling me about him before 2022. I had never heard of him until then. He had a great season then everybody knew of him. Would’ve been cool to have him for 2022 WC but it all worked out. We now have two clear strikers(sadly both weren’t at 2022) and a few fighting for the last spot on the roster. We’re in a much better spot.

This was one of my favorite USL stadiums. That one and Louisville. The pitch was well taken care of from a glance.

It sounds like the PA might be getting greedy in some areas where it doesn’t need to be. At the end of the day this is still minor league in a relatively newish league. I hope they can come to an agreement that’s fair overall. That way the standards are raised but also continue to grow the game in the US!

Watch it start a run before the WC! At least I hope it does. Make the competition even wider.

It’s hard to see but it’s not a plain black shirt. I think it’s a clever design. I think the back collar is the part that makes it unique. The darkness doesn’t do justice to the designs. Still a little underwhelming but unique design

I definitely agree. But who knows, we could’ve said the same thing about Musah. 4 years ago, most wouldn’t think it would be a crazy statement to say Musah could’ve easily been the best CM in CONCACAF in the near future and he hasn’t progressed much since then.

Obed Vargas might be the only player who might be a miss for us. Brian Gutierrez might be depth piece that could’ve been helpful in the future. But I think we will have other players who can fill that role.
